Brief History of the Tart Cherry

This tiny red fruit is not native to the United States. It was brought over on the boats with the early explorers. Prior to crossing the Atlantic, it also crossed the heart of Europe starting out in Asia Minor. It is believed to have originated in this region and was brought back to Rome, but the mighty legions. In fact, as the Roman network of roads expanded throughout the ancient world, cherry trees were planted along this every expanding network. The wood was used to building wagons and weapons.

Once it arrived in the New World it quick spread and ultimately ended up being planted in several States including Wisconsin, Utah, Washington, New York and Michigan. Best of all, after all these years, a number of different products are made from using the cherries including tart cherry juice.
How to Drink the Tart Cherry Juice

This tasty drink is made from using concentrate and the concentrate can be made from either fresh or frozen tart cherries. Once the cherries are concentrated, the next step is to make it into a refreshing 100% natural Montmorency tart cherry juice drink.

We recommend mixing in one ounce of the tart cherry juice concentrate with 7 ounces of water to make a full 8 oz. healthy and refreshing drink.
