Concentration
7:1 ratio at approximately 68 Brix. Our concentrate is reduced single-strength Montmorency juice - the water removed, the fruit solids retained.
Reconstitution
1 ounce of concentrate is mixed with approximately 7 to 8 ounces of water to make a glass of 100% tart cherry juice.
The Calculation
Because one ounce of our concentrate reconstitutes into roughly an 8-ounce glass of 100% juice, it carries the same fruit as the industry 8-ounce glass - approximately 100 cherries. The chain:

Why approximately. Reconstitution is a range (7 to 8 ounces), cherry size varies by season, and Brix varies slightly batch to batch. We state the figure as approximate because that is the honest precision of the measurement - not a rounded marketing number.
